As we approach the end of the school year many of you may be thinking about middle school. In an effort to relieve any anxiety that you may have, Mr. Scherrer, principal at San Gorgonio has kindly invited you to join them on their Learning Walks.
LearningWalks are opportunities to observe instruction and review what was observed.

PALM FACILITY IMPROVEMENT
As you may know, this year we have held several community and parent meetings, back in September, regarding the rebuilding of Palm School. We had you vote on two items. 1) use the same design as another school or have a new design for the new Palm school. 2) Stay at Palm during the rebuild or go to Chavez Elem. during the rebuild?
Overwhelmingly, the votes were over 80% in favor of a new design and to move to Chavez temporarily until Palm school is finished.
On December 9th, the Board of Trustees selected an architect firm to begin the process of designing the new Palm school.
There will be opportunities, through surveys, to get your input for the design. Please check our website for updates.
If your child will be absent from school, please report his/her absence to the Health/Attendance Clerk, Sharley Meadows.

Summer Movie Fun
Please help us earn money for our school by purchasing Summer Movie Fun season tickets!
Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis starting in April.
2015 Summer Movie Fun begins June 15th and runs through August 21st.
Order forms will be going home and are available in the office. The last day to purchase these tickets will be on March 18th.
Band starts on September 12th and will be every Friday
Each week students attend their instrument sectional and advanced or beginning band.
No band on November 21, December 19, March 20.
Last day of band will be on 29th.
